Hyundai Motor India Limited has launched Intelligent Manual Transmission (iMT). The company has introduced it in the Sport trim of Venue. You will now get new clutch-less manual transmission technology in Venue's SX and SX (O) variants.
The driver only needs to change gears, Sensor works like the clutch.Company has given a 1.0 liter T-GDi turbocharged petrol engine in its Venue.
The Venue's sibling rival, the Kia Sonet, will also be featuring the new iMT option at launch and is due to be unveiled soon.Hyundai’s new clutchless manual is more affordable than its own sophisticated dual-clutch automatic (DCT)
Engine Specifications-
The Hyundai Venue now gets the option of the new 6-speed Intelligent Manual Transmission (iMT) which doesn’t have a clutch pedal anymore. It is only offered with the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine of the Venue and is a mid-way option between the 6-speed manual and the 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. The new iMT option is being offered on two variants of the Venue:
