Tata Motors will soon launch two SUVs in India, including a 7-seater SUV and a smaller SUV, where the company has named the 7-seater Gravitas, while the name of the HBX concept SUV has not been revealed. Tata Motors is known for its attractive and strong cars. Tata Motors' hatchback Tata Tiago is doing quite well. The premium hatchback altroz is also performing well.
This time when Tata Motors has trademarked a new name 'Timero' in India, it was filed last year which was approved in early September 2020. This has been revealed from the database of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
Tata Motors' well-known compact SUV Tata NEXON has made a place in the Top Selling cars of India. Now Tata Motors plans to bring a new super-compact SUV which will be bigger than Tata Tiago but the price will be slightly more than Tata Tiago and less than Tata Nexon. Tata Motors will list the new super-compact SUV under Tata Nexon.
Launch Time-
At such times, the name 'Timero' is believed to be used for SUVs with the upcoming HBX concept. The company was supposed to bring this SUV to India this year but it has been delayed due to the Corona epidemic.
Design-
The company introduced Tata HBX Auto Expo in 2020 and said that its production version is going to be 90 percent. In such a situation, it can be seen that the production model has the same small tail lamps as the concept, but slightly differently. This small SUV is built on the company's Impact 2.0 design language. It can be given split headlamps, fox skid plates, LED DRLs. Its interior will have a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, semi-digital instrument cluster, cruise control, and Harmon's audio system.
Engine Specifications-
The Tata HBX will be powered by a 1.2-liter Revotron petrol engine, which produces 86 bhp of power and 114-newton meters of torque. The car will be available in automatic and manual gearboxes. This engine has been used in Tiago, Altroz, etc.
It will be given the option of a 5-speed manual and 5 speed automatic, but the option of diesel engines will not be brought in it. Tata HBX is 154 mm shorter than Nexon but it is 28 mm and 11 mm more than Nexon in height and width.
Price-
Tata HBX will compete with Maruti Ignis and Mahindra KUV100 after its launch in India. It is estimated that it can be priced at Rs 4.5 TO 5.5 lakhs so that this SUV can attract more and more customers of this price range.
It has been seen many times during testing in India. Tata HBX spotted testing again in India. The mini SUV is expected to be offered with 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder Revotron petrol engine with a power output of 86PS and 113Nm of torque. It’s likely to get a 5-speed MT and an optional AMT.
